Yes. A learner does not have to be affiliated with an organization, and SHIFT education increases marketability in the field.
How many staff should participate?
As many or as few as you like. Only organizations pursuing accreditation must meet minimum numbers.

SHIFT Accreditations provide standardized best practices and practical tools, with SHIFT as a guide and consultant.
Do we need to decide on accreditation right away?
No. You can begin the application process any time once the minimum educated-staff requirement is met.
What if a certified staff member leaves?
An individual's certification belongs to them; you would enroll another staff member in the appropriate program.
Are there ongoing costs?
There may be a cost to enroll new learners, and a renewal fee every 2–4 years depending on tier.
